Transformers 2 ?? ^_^?

I loved the first transformers movie but people are telling me that the 2nd film is too long and mindless, can anyone who has seen it tell me what they think. :-)

2. i saw it yesterday, and it is good.

   agree that it is quite long, but if you loved the first one like i did, then you'll love the second one. you might as well see it for yourself if you get the chance and liked the first one :)



3. The movie is long, but I liked it, the time went by really fast, but i still prefer the first one better.Because the first time I saw transformers I was like wow! those are awesome effects, but now its not as big surprise.


4. The first movie didn't have much of a plot either and it was just as long. It is basically the same movie with more effects and action. Trust me, if you liked the first one, you will like the second one. Critics are just real picky with sequels, they don't like seeing sequels that are merely just continuations. Most true fans of the first one won't care, they will like it anyway.

6. It's much better then the first one. Graphically it's a huge improvement and the robots are in it right from the first scene. There's tons of action, loads of laughs and if you even half liked the first one you'll really enjoy it. The best film of 2009 in my opinion!

   i agree that it is long but its also very much enjoyable if your a fan of the first one, no doubt youll love the 2nd one. the action is pure brilliance i loved it!!!



8. I am going to be honest here, so don't get pissed at me. I saw the first transformers and I thought it was pretty good. Not my favorite movie that i would watch over and over again, but it was ok. I went to the midnight showing of the second one with my transformer obsessed friends and i thought the movie was very dull. It was pretty much the first one all over again. Also for some reason, the acting was extremely bad and i dont know why. Megan Fox was extremely hot, but she really sucked at acting. It drag on for a very very long time and there were scenes that were really unnecessary. It just wasnt my movie and I know people might disagree cuz they are hardcore transformers fans but thats just the truth, I think they just made this movie for $$$


9. I don't think it is too long at all. I mean it's not really longer than most good movies these days. And if some people think it is very long well in my opinion it needs to be as long as it is. There's a lot going on in it.

   If they had made it any shorter they would have had to cut back on some of the story-lines.

   I think it is just as good as the first one and if you liked that you will definitely like it. I thought it was great!!!

11. dont listen to what they say...if you liked the first 1....you'll love this......why o why people have to nit pick things in films these days is beyond me....you wont find better effects in any film what been out in a long time....its funny,,,,the eye candy for the lads is 10 out of 10.....the transforming really is something to behold.....if you hav to pick fault with this film you must be very hard to please.....

12. I've seen it and I really really enjoyed it. It is long enough but because I was enjoying it I didn't feel the time passing. Go see it and judge for yourself, everyone has different opinions on movies so it's hard to listen when someone says something is rubbish!


13. don't listen to other people's negative reviews! number one- they are mostly wrong and number two- it kinda made me notice the points they were making more than I would if I hadn't read the reviews! which is a shame because I love Transformers and it took me about twenty mins to really start to get into it and enjoy it!

    it is pretty long, perhaps slightly too long maybe, but the action is great and the characters are likeable so I didn't find that too much of a problem! this film saw much more of the different transformers appear in it but saw less between Sam and Mikaela! but I suppose they had alot of character development devoted to them in the first movie! and I don't know why everyone's slagging off Megan Fox's acting, it was fine if you ask me, maybe they are just jealous of her or something!

    so in a nutshell, ignore the people complaining about it and just go and enjoy a very entertaining movie :)
