Why didnt they put more characters in Transformers 2 the game?

I have Transformers 2 for xbox360. I got so angry. Why didnt they put Skid, Jolt, Mudflap, Sideswipe or other new characters on Transformers 2 the game. Please answer.

   It's like asking: Why is the XBOX 360 painted white?

   It's one of those questions that probably only the people behind the making know

   And sorry if this answer sounded rude, I didn't mean it to be that way. I just have a bit of trouble phrasing things

5. The developers probably did not have time to work on additional characters before release date.

   Do not lose hope though. The game is getting downloadable content, and characters such as Jetfire, Jolt, and Sideswipe have a chance to be in it.



6. like the other people said the programmers probably didnt have enough time or they only had so much memory to work with that they couldnt be programmed in


7. b/c the other characters didn't have a whole lot to do with the actual movie and besides that the game came out the day before the movie.

   which means that they didn't want to add a lot of new characters and spoil the surprise of them being in the film.

   i know it's stupid but i'm 99% sure that's the reason.
