In Transformers 3, how does Mikaela get cut from the plot line?

In Transformers 3 Sam Witwiki gets a new girlfriend. but what happened to Mikaela? How does she get cut? Does she die or what? HELP!

2. They replaced her (now its a Victoria's Secret model) because she wasn't an good enough actress.


3. The first issue of the Dark of the Moon prequel doesn't say. Maybe thery're saving it for exposition in the film. She probably left poor Sam and ran off with someone else like Elizabeth Shu did in the second Karate Kid movie (because she didn't reprised her role as Daniel's girlfriend). Personally I hope mikaela was killed by a Decepticon (off-screen as usual) forcing Sam to be a man


4. Not sure if Mikaela is gone, but I do know that Megan Fox is not in the movie. The trailers still looks super amazing though .
