Transformers Movie Info

Laptop is lagging and sounds like Optimus Prime?

Sounds comical, I know, but it's beyond annoying. It's basically a lag, but the sounds in videos and music sound like Optimus Prime from Transformers. Anyone else have this issue? Have any suggestions to fix it?
