will hd dvd beat blue ray?
i want to buy the add on for the xbox but am not sure if i should or wait.. hd dvd has movies like shrek 3 and transformers. can that alone kill blue ray??

- This topic was all over game magazines when the xbox & ps3 launched. On paper, it seems as though blu-ray has the best stats but in business, it all about the $$$ factor. I would have to bet on blu-ray, but that's just my opinion.
- at this point, I think there's a chance that both format would survive and coexisted - but they need to have a good growth rating because as for now the total two high definition format combined doesn't even exceed 1% of the total home video market. Hopefully, when newer (and cheaper) player is being introduced, it will have more effect on saturating the market. And hopefully, dual format player will be in the norm in the near future.
If you have the XBOX and already got an HDTV, get the HD DVD extension. You won't regret it.
