Transformers Movie Info

Why is that Transformers 3 isn't coming out until 2012?

Is it because Shia and Megan are busy doing other things? Surely it won't take them 2-3 years to make it.

  1. Actually, I want them to take some time. Usually the guys who take time writing and producing the movie give the film more quality. Transformers 2 didn't take as long as it needed, I can see...at least, when it comes to writing it.

  2. probably because it is going to take a lot of time to shoot every scene perfectly, and they want to make it like the best movie ever made.

  3. Wow looks like you got a problem buddy

  4. As a preemptive measure, Paramount announced a July 4, 2011 release date for a third Transformers film before completion of Revenge of the Fallen. Bay responded, "I said I was taking off a year from Transformers. Paramount made a mistake in dating Transformers 3—they asked me on the phone—I said yes to July 4—but for 2012—whoops! Not 2011! That would mean I would have to start prep in September. No way. My brain needs a break from fighting robots."

Remember, movies take a long time to make. There must be casting, writing (usually MANY drafts are written), pre-production, production, filming, editing, CGI, re-shoots. Two to three years sounds perfectly resonable.

  5. Maybe it has to go through the post production process, edit the film, make sure it has a good soundtrack etc.

Maybe it just isn't ready to be seen by the general public yet.

Maybe they also need time to promote the film also.

In rereading your question would you rather see a well put together sequel or one that was rushed and poorly done?

Good things come to those who wait.

  6. michael bay wanted to take a break

  7. well its' been 2 years since the first one came out and michael said he's taking a year off until he starts the third. so it would take 2 years for the next one also
