Transformers Animated is by & large the worst in terms of robot & character design. They look more like Teen Titans characters rather than robots! A Transformers series is only as strong as its weakeest part. You can't enter a Transformers series without putting effort into every aspect of it, but the lackidasical anime design means that the whole series suffers in the process. I agree it has to change but not from good to awesome to CRAP, why can't they look like Gundams or Teknoman instead of Teen Titans? the transforming would be better. I agree with you! The animation sucks and the characters look so bad! They look even worser then the early episodes of Dexter and Power Puff Girls.
I think the reason why they suck so much is cause they producers wanted to cut back on the price for animation. Crappy drawings means less money to pay for them.

I think the producers forgot that it was a cartoon that started in the 80's and now that we grew up with it , We expect it to be treated better than what we got . They are trying to turn it into something that little kids of today want to see . but they are alienating the original fans . They still don't get the fact that we are the core audience , not the the kids .
