Transformers Movie Info
transformers?
I'm new to the world of transformers ever since I saw the trailer for the movie coming this summer and it got my attention anyone out there know where I can find information on the story, background, characters, episodes of the old tv show anything to help me understand the movie more when it comes out?

- Visit www.tv-links.co.uk you'll find all the old episodes there(I think). But it's definitely an awesome show. And once you finish the original series there is always Beasties or Beast Wars. (same show but different name weird eh?)
- Watching the old shows won't help you a bit in understanding more about the upcoming Transformers movie. It may actually confuse you. The movie is set in its own continuity and is totally unrelated to anything that has come before. There are new charachters, and old ones have been changed significantly.
So basicly, you can go in blind and enjoy the movie without having to know anything about Transformers BUT if you would like some backround, There is a 4-part movie Prequel comic published by IDW that IS set in the movie universe and does give a bit of a backround to the movie. Not required reading, but the closest thing to what you are looking for. Hope this helps.
