Transformers Movie Info

Why is the Transformers (2007) movie soundtrack so expensive?

I've been looking around for it and have only found it online and it's been around 100 bucks! It's a good soundtrack but it's not THAT good. And it's the same story with Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom. What gives? I've been looking around for it and have only found it online and it's been around 100 bucks! It's a good soundtrack but it's not THAT good. And it's the same story with Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom. What gives? BTW, neanderthal, I meant the Original Score not that other muck.

  1. Because they are so rare, especially Transformers. They didn't bet that people would want the music, just the crappy rock songs. You can find both on torrent websites though for free. That's what I did

  2. its at amazon for $14. how hard did you look?

  3. It's not 100 dollars. Why would it be? It's like 10 bucks on iTunes.

  4. It is a simple case of supply versus demand. The score CD is no longer in print and there are apparently a lot more people that really, really want it than there are copies available. Since there are no more copies being made, the surplus number of people that still want it has caused the price to swell over $100. It's normally pretty rare for a CD or DVD to experience such a high demand, but it does happen occasionally. Check out the prices for some of the Disney DVDs that have been retired to the vault (Beauty and the Beast for sure) cuz they are the same way.

  5. they are anywhere from $8-$40 on auction
