Transformers Movie Info
Transformers 3 Casting?
Seeing that transformers 3 has officially been announced and it is already in pre-production. I was curious as to when they would begin to hold auditions and how one would go about getting that information (should i contact dreamworks, etc.,). Thanks for any help.

- The ONLY person that can get you an audition for a multimillion dollar franchise is an AGENT. (The same can be said for almost everything on the 'big screen'). You don't simply contact dreamworks - it's not as easy as that.
Audition information is not available to the public that is why one needs an agent if they want to make it in this business.

not all actors that we see on the big screens all had agents when they started out, take Emma Watson from the Harry potter films for example, before her role in the first harry potter film her only experience in acting was from her school drama group and she still got the part over hundreds of thousands of hopefuls
- mills020, Emma Watson is a rare exception, had been going to a theatre arts school from the age of 6, therefore had some training and experience, and would most likely have been sent to audition by them.
Contacting Dreamworks? You wouldn't even get past the switchboard. Roles in major films are only cast through agents who represent professional, trained actors. The simple reason being that the casting directors have no desire to waste time at an open call, auditioning thousands of candidates who think they can act when they can't.
